Interview dated 20th July 2015
After Rehman earning so much in Middle east comes back and gets settled in India. One day he meets Dr. Mallik who is a leading professional advocate in Hyderabad. Rehman says: I would like to work again as am getting bored sitting IDLE but to my work experience I don’t get any suitable job in India. And as I am so rich, I don't want to work for salary. So you can help me out. Dr. Mallik thinks for a while and tells ' Only vacancy I have is P. A to me as the earlier one was a shaik and he left to Middle East. If you are really interested , come for a formal interview and you will selected if you are through.'
Interview…
Dr. Mallik :If you throw a Blue stone into the blue sea what it will become?
Rehman : It will become Wet.Dr. Mallik :What can you never eat for breakfast ?
Rehman : Dinner.Dr. Mallik:How can a man go straight eight days without sleeping?
Rehman : No Problems, He can sleep at night.Dr. Mallik: I shall either ask you five easy questions or only one really difficult question. Think well before you make up your mind.
Rehman thought for a while and said, “my choice is one really difficult question.”
“Well, good luck to you, you have made your own choice! Now tell me this.
“What comes first, Chicken or Egg?”
Rehman was very happy and answered “It’s the chicken!”
“How?” Dr. Mallik asked,
Rehman : “Sorry Dr. Mallik you promised me that you will not ask me a SECOND difficult question!” and unfortunately Rehman got selected.

Mr.Curious Murali Vs Dr.Rehman
Murali : Doctor, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
Dr.Rehman : Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap.
Murali : Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?
Dr.Rehman : You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.
Murali : Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
Dr.Rehman : No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up!
Murali : How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
Dr.Rehman : Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.
Murali : What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
Dr.Rehman : Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain...Good!
Murali : Aren't fried foods bad for you?
Dr.Rehman : YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!! ...... Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?
Murali : Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
Dr.Rehman :Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.
Murali : Is chocolate bad for me?
Dr.Rehman : Are you crazy? HELLO Cocoa beans ! Another vegetable!!! It's the best feel-good food around!
Murali : Is swimming good for your figure?
Dr.Rehman : If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me.
Murali : Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?
Dr.Rehman : Hey! 'Round' is a shape!
Well Mr. Curious Murali, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.

Success Story Of Dr. Mallik
I am Mallikarjun. I was planning to be a doctor after SSC when fortuitously, I did not get application for MPC but got application for BiPC at St. Alphonsa';s. Thot life was working mysteriously to make me a Doctor. But just few days before teh Medical Entrance, me and my brother had a fall from vehicle and seeing him bleeding, I am fainted and realised that I was too faint hearted for doing Medicine. So out went the Doctor opportunity No. 1.
Found a new love in Genetics and plant Breeding and that was the only reason I joined BSc Ag and was my only aim was to do research and bring another green revolution, not even knowing how a rice plant would be. Joined BSc ag. A mediocre and aloof existence in college till South India Tour and RAWEP happened and I changed for the better. The full display of change was at NSS in Nalgonda. My biggest achivement was getting 14th rank in MSc Ag and becoming the last man in to sit alongside Kanaka Durga and Sudha Rani (toppers with more than 9.5 OGPA and me with just 8.68 OGPA) in Msc Genetics and Plant Breeding.I was very keen on doing PhD in Genetics and Plant Breeding and be alonside my idol Dr MS Swaminathan. I thot I was close to becoming a Doctor. And then I did my research in Forage Maize at Forage Research Station in APAU, lost interest in research because of the poor facilities. Did my crop work by December 1990 but submitted my thesis and got my MSc Ag on 31.12.1994. In the meanwhile, I got selected for CSIR Junior Research Fellowship, got thru NABARD Officer's exam, RBI's Officer's exam, Civils Prelims etc. I was invited by Central Aromatic Plants research institute to do PhD but, I had lost interest. Thought that having Dr. before my name was written off.
Then came the twist. Joined LLB at Mumbai and continued with LLM but got not too good marks. So the thots of PhD in law vanished as the minimum % of marks required was 55 and I had 53%. Not even eligible for NET. Thot Opportunity No. 3 for a Doctor is gone for ever.
Then came ad for PhD at National Law School where entry was based not on marks but research proposal. A new window opened and I barged in with a good show at teh selections and was chosen as one of 4 to be eligible to pursue PhD. This was in November 2005.
Yesterday, 14, July 2011, I cam to know that the 3 external examiners who checked my thesis found that my work is good enough tto be awarded a PhD and so, now I can add Doctor to my name.
